Los Prados is located on the southwest corner of State Highway PR-156 and Grand Boulevard, at the intersection with the Los Prados development. Most of the new housing developments in Caguas are developed there, just one mile west of the PR-52 highway.

Los Prados has 867 houses and apartments. Homes range from $300,000 to $550,000, apartments start at $204,000. Adjacent to Los Prados is the Hacienda San José housing development with 1,300 homes ranging between $250,000 and $1,000,000.

State Highway PR-156 connects the town of Caguas with the towns of Aguas Buenas, Comerio and Barranquitas.
